Learn to Program Ruby, Chris Pine
This is an excellent tutorial for the beginning programmer. Even if you have never programmed at all, this will be understanable and useful.

There are numerous tutorials on how to do web related programming - including HTML, Javascript, CSS (Cascading StyleSheets), XML, Server side programming (ASP, PHP, SQL), and other topics.
